March of Dimes Discovery Research Grants

March of Dimes is offering funding to established researchers with with a history of published work in the maternal fetal health and related fields. Funding is intended to make consequential translational discoveries that will drastically alter clinical care for pregnant women and babies through evidence-based prevention, diagnosis or intervention. Awards will provide $200,000 over two years inclusive of 10% indirect costs. Proposed projects should focus on one of the following priority areas:

  • Late Spontaneous Pre-Term Birth
  • Racial Inequities as They Relate to Morbidity and Mortality Outcomes for Mothers and Babies
  • Cardiovascular Health Conditions Developed During Pregnancy or Exacerbated During Pregnancy
  • Maternal Stress, Its Impact on Pregnancy Outcomes, and How to Mitigate the Effects
