The UWPRC Community Advisory Board (CAB) guides researchers in understanding how programs, practices, and policy impact maternal and child health in Wisconsin communities. The CAB has equal representation from people with lived and living experience related to health and equity (Family Circle members) and people who represent community-based, local, and state organizations providing services and advocacy around maternal and child health (Organizational Partner members). The CAB identifies research priorities and emerging health issues impacting their communities, and helps set the research and translation agenda. They also advise the translation, dissemination, and implementation of research findings.
