Taking Action with Data Project

In conjunction with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS), the Wisconsin Environmental Public Health Tracking Program (Wisconsin Tracking) is excited to announce a request for applications (RFA) to award competitive funding for the development and implementation of local initiatives related to environmental health. Health agencies for cities, counties, federally-recognized Tribes, and multi-jurisdictional entities may apply for these funds. This is the seventh year of the Taking Action with Data project.

Wisconsin Tracking anticipates funding approximately five projects, awarding each up to $10,000. The project timeline is 8/1/2022-7/31/2023. The deadline for applying is 3:30pm CDT on Friday, July 22, 2022. We strongly suggest you send an email by July 8, 2022 at 3:30pm indicating your intention to apply; however, this is not required for application.

Please access the full RFA and accompanying appendices at https://www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/taking-action-data-project. Included in the RFA are descriptions of funding objectives and scope of work.  Wisconsin Tracking staff will be available to provide technical assistance to grantees throughout the duration of the grant cycle.
