Community Advisory Board member Dalvery Blackwell has been selected to receive the Birth & Breastfeeding Institute Award for Black Breastfeeding Leadership as part of the 2022 Black Breastfeeding Week Awards. Dalvery is the Co-founder and Executive Director of the African American Breastfeeding Network where she advocates and works to create breastfeeding equity by addressing maternal and infant health disparities. She will be honored in Brooklyn, New York on August 30th at 6:30 PM as part of the Black Breastfeeding Week New Foundation Dinner.
