The Communities Confronting COVID-19 (C3) project is a collaboration between the University of Wisconsin Prevention Research Center and Southwestern Wisconsin Community Action Program, prompting vaccine confidence in rural communities. C3 will present some of their work at the Wisconsin Public Health Association Conference this Wednesday (May 25) from 1:15pm to 2:00pm. The breakout session, titled “Communities Confronting COVID-19: Lessons Learned through Vaccine Promotion in Rural Wisconsin,” will present preliminary findings from C3’s work and help attendees learn about the context of vaccine hesitancy in rural Wisconsin, the project’s media campaign for vaccine promotion, and the lessons learned for future public health emergencies.
