New UW NACHP podcast: Medicine Talkers

Introducing Medicine Talkers: A podcast from the Native American Center for Health Professions!

An announcement from the Collaborative Center for Health Equity:

Congratulations to the UW Native American Center for Health Professions (NACHP) on the announcement of their new podcast, Medicine Talkers!

Medicine Talkers is about all things health from an Indigenous lens. You’ll hear conversations that connect Indian Country to the classroom, clinic, and community. Listen and follow along to learn and engage more with Native health.

The podcast is hosted by NACHP Program Specialist Lauren Cornelius, BA, who has been with NACHP since the Center received its first Indians into Medicine (INMED) grant in 2014.

Lauren shares:
The NACHP team and I are so excited for this new journey in connecting with our Tribal communities near and far to promote pathways to health careers at UW-Madison as well as highlight Native health professionals, students, and advocates who are working to improve the health and well-being of our Native people everywhere. We are grateful for this opportunity to extend NACHP’s reach and make our information more accessible than ever.

The podcast trailer is out now exclusively on Spotify. Episode 1 will debut in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
