Dr. Melody Goodman visits the UWPRC

Dr. Melody Goodman, Associate Dean for Research and Associate Professor of Biostatistics at NYU, does research focusing on understanding social risk factors that contribute to health disparities in urban areas, with the goal of developing culturally competent, region-specific, and evidence-based solutions through collaborative activities with community members, community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, and other community health stakeholders. The UWPRC will be co-hosting Dr. Goodman with the Department of Population Health Sciences on Monday, October 5th. Dr. Goodman will give a talk – Development and Validation of the Research Engagement Survey Tool (REST) – at the PHS Monday Seminar at 12 PM.
