Barbara Wolfe, PhD, is a Core Faculty member of the UWPRC. She is a Professor Emerita in the Department of Population Health Sciences at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and in the Department of Economics in L&S. Her research investigates the influence of: income on health; resource adequacy at retirement and post-retirement; housing vouchers on children’s school performance and risk taking; and growing up with a sibling who has disabilities. She is currently working on several projects through the Institute for Research on Poverty. She will work on center activities and will specifically contribute to supporting the expansion of prevention research and training on campus.
