Kristen Slack, PhD, is a Core Faculty member of the UWPRC. She is a Professor in the School of Social Work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Slack’s research investigates the role of poverty and economic hardship in child maltreatment, focusing specifically on child neglect. She will work on center activities and will specifically contribute to supporting the expansion of prevention research and training on campus.
