Patrick Remington, MD, MPH is the UWPRC Associate Director of Training. He is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Population Health Sciences at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He is also the Director of the University of Wisconsin’s Preventive Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Remington is currently teaching prevention and public health courses to undergrads, public and population health students, medical students, and community members. His research focused on ways to enhance methods in public health surveillance and outcomes. As the UWPRC Associate Director of Training, Dr. Remington oversees activities to enhance prevention research and translation training opportunities for public health practitioners, students, community members, and organizational partners.
