Thomas Oliver, PhD, MHA, is a Core Faculty member of the UWPRC. He is a Professor in the Department of Population Health Sciences at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Oliver’s teaching and research focus on the roles of intersectoral governance, leadership, and partnerships in population health improvement; the history and development of major health care programs and policies in the United States; the politics of public health policy; and comparative policy development in the U.S. and European Union. He will work on center activities and will specifically contribute to supporting the expansion of prevention research and training on campus.
