Before the meeting

  • Make sure that you have Zoom downloaded on your computer before the meeting. If you don’t, you will be prompted to download when you try joining the meeting on November 2. It is free to download.
  • If you have never used Zoom before, we encourage you to log on 10 minutes early on November 2 to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • If you are having any technical difficulties, we can help you troubleshoot. Reach out to us at prc@wisc.edu. We will also monitor this inbox on the day of the meeting in case you have trouble joining the Zoom meeting.

  • Please join the meeting any time between 8:30 AM and 8:45 AM. We will email the Zoom meeting link to everyone who is registered. Please note that if you have trouble with audio, there is a call-in option that you can dial in from your phone.
  • We ask that you turn on your video to encourage connection with other attendees.
  • Please mute your mic when you are not speaking to the speaker(s) or to the group. This will keep background noises to a minimum and avoid disruptions.
  • Please use the “raise hand” feature when you would like to speak. This will ensure that we do not speak over each other and will account for any audio delays.
  • Unless otherwise stated, please hold your verbal questions until the end of each session but feel free to use the chat option during the meeting. You may post questions that the speaker(s) will answer later or share insights or comments with other attendees.
