Social Cinema: Aftershock

The Havens Wright Center for Social Justice at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in collaboration with the Wisconsin Union Directorate Film Committee will be hosting a screening of the award-winning documentary Aftershock. Aftershock tells the story of two families fighting for justice as they confront the Black maternal health crisis following the preventable losses of their loved ones from childbirth complications. Film screening will begin at 6:30 PM. A discussion facilitated by UWPRC Deputy Director Dr. Jill Denson, PhD will follow.
