For better or worse, health is political, according to Dr. Georges Benjamin, executive director of the American Public Health Association. But there are strategies that avoid politics to effect change. In this webinar, we will explore non-partisan opportunities to promote health equity to policymakers with ChangeLab Solutions. Senior attorney Katie Michel will share ways to develop effective, equitable health policies. Vice president of law Sabrina Adler will discuss preemption, or when state law alters or eliminates a local law, and opportunities to address it.
