Join the Institute for Clinical & Translational Research Dissemination & Implementation Launchpad on November 11th from 12:00 – 1:00 PM via Zoom for this month’s guest speaker, Dr. Sijia Yang, Assistant Professor in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Seminar Description:

This seminar will discuss the rural-urban gap in COVID-19 vaccination rates and the need to develop communication-based interventions to improve vaccine confidence in rural communities. Yang will share insights and lessons learned from exploring a community-engaged, localized approach to develop and test social media vaccine promotional messages leveraging the power of personal testimonials from trusted local healthcare providers; what their team call the Communities Confronting COVID (C3) approach.
